About Right Of Way Management
In 2020, we founded Right Of Way Management out of a simple observation: property owners in Merrill needed someone who actually understood what it takes to clear land properly. Not someone rushing between five other jobs. Not a crew that treats every project the same. Someone local. Someone invested in doing it right.
We started small, doing forestry mulching and site prep. Quick jobs became bigger ones. A slope needing mulching turned into a full land clearing project. A right-of-way mowing contract led to grading and excavation. Each project taught us something different, and each taught us what our clients actually needed: not a list of services, but someone who shows up and solves the problem in front of them.
Being locally owned means we're not calling a regional office to make decisions. When you call us, you're talking to people who know the land around Merrill, who understand what a property needs, and who can adjust the plan if something unexpected shows up. That responsiveness became as important to us as the work itself.
'We do this work because it matters. A cleared lot is a clean slate. Prepared ground is possibility.'
— Right Of Way Management Founder
Small means we move faster. A larger company has layers. We don't. When you tell us what you need done, we build a plan and execute it without waiting for approval from three departments. That speed turns weeks into days for many projects.
Being locally owned means we actually drive past your property after the work is done. We care about how it looks not just when we leave, but next month. That's not sentiment—it's practical. Our reputation here in Merrill depends on every project we touch. We see your land the way you do: as something that matters to you specifically, not as a line item on a daily schedule.
Experience across multiple services taught us that land work rarely fits into a single category. You might need site prep and grading on the same property. Slope mulching alongside excavation. The excavation companies we know don't do mulching. The mulching specialists don't touch excavation. We do both, which means we can see the whole picture and recommend what your land actually needs rather than what we specialize in.
When you reach out, we listen to what you're facing. A property that needs clearing. Ground ready for construction. Right-of-way maintenance. We ask the questions that matter: what's your timeline, what does success look like to you, what are you planning to do with the land when we're done. Then we tell you what we think makes sense and why.
We show up on time. We respect your property. We do the work we said we'd do. That honesty and reliability is what being a small, local business is supposed to mean, and it's what we aim for every single day in Merrill.
If you have land that needs work, call us. Let's talk about what you're trying to accomplish.
